At last the details for iKON’s repackaged album have been released by YG Entertainment!
The repackage album comes with a new release title track called “I’m Ok” which is as the fandom expected since the boys have been obliging enough to spoil it for us weeks ago!
The “I’m Ok” announcement was accompanied by a moody and grainy black and white poster featuring the boys in suits posed around a black vintage car and giving off an extremely classy feel. The gorgeousness of the boys have iKONICs asking themselves if they are, in fact, indeed ok.
Interestingly, seeing that the image is located in a tunnel answered one of this year’s fandom mysteries concerning a missing MV with scenes from a tunnel based off posts made by Donghyuk in March. Actually the boys must have been pretty anxious to share this track and MV as they have been providing us with spoilers for months!
Details for the album:
Online Album Release : 2019.01.07
Offline Album Release : 2019.01.08
It looks like iKONICs will be starting 2019 well.
On Dec 23, a mere week till the formerly confirmed date of Dec 31st for the release of iKON’s New Kids Series Repackaged album, YGE has announced a reschedule.
YGE has cited “distribution” problems and apparently the date is being pushed to “around early January” with an official timeline to be announced at the oh too familiar timing of “soon.”
YG himself posted this information on his personal Instagram along with a screen shot of the album cover and, possibly because there is no material prepared to promote the album, a scanned page from iKON’s recent Arena Homme editorial.
iKONICs have expressed disappointment but have as a whole pronounced themselves far from surprised for the following reasons:
1. No pre-sale or even any details at all have been made available since the announcement 2 months ago till now almost a week to the original release date.
2. This is a repeat offence for YGE who even had to reschedule and delay iKON’s debut album.
3. This is YGE. They kind of have a reputation.
iKONICs have decided to turn their disappointment into proactivity by working on streaming iKON videos, “Killing Me” in particular and voting for iKON on end of year awards.
In the absence of information before now iKONICs have also entertained themselves with what we can now consider a tradition of making fan made promotional material to help drum up awareness for iKON’s incoming work during their company’s habitual delays in giving them adequate publicity. Some have even updated their material to reflect the recent news!
iKON meanwhile were booked and busy marking a 2nd date Dome performance at Japan’s Kyrocera today that was reportedly well attended. The busy boys have already flown back to Korea presumably for the SBS Gayo Daejun to take place on the 25th.
iKON will also be appearing at the V HEARTBEAT Year End Party 2018 in Vietnam on the 28th. Let’s keep supporting our best boys all the way!
iKON had a successful comeback yesterday with the release of the Goodbye Road MV and New Kids: The Final mini album at 6PM KST.
(Don’t forget to stream the MV! Our goal is 6M views in 24 hours.)
As for Korea, Goodbye Road debuted comfortably in top #21 of all major charts, raising quickly and steadily every hour until the charts froze at 1AM, achieving #4 on Naver and #1 on all other charts, getting incredibly close to scoring a Realtime All Kill.

iKON released the third lyric narration video for their title track Goodbye Road featuring Bobby, Chanwoo and Yunhyeong. You can enjoy the melancholy lyrics in English too as narration video comes with subtitles.
Don’t forget to watch and like the narration video on YouTube and Naver.
The Teaser that YGE Founder, Yang Hyun Suk touted as “too powerful” has finally arrived and – it appears he didn’t lie.
Hanbin’s unique tone, loaded with world weariness takes us through a heavy but addictive refrain as we see each of iKON’s members in various framed shots, all aesthetic, all equally moody. Just exactly right for a song called “Killing Me.”
It’s the perfect type of Teaser too. Not giving away too much, just enough to leave you thirsty for more, a complete turn around from Love Scenario’s interesting promo style and iKONICs LOVE it.
iKON is set to come back at 6pm on August the 2nd with Title track “Killing Me” and subtitle track “Freedom.” Until then I think we all know what to do with this Teaser!
With a week left to comeback, iKON has announced the name of their upcoming title track.
The credits denote Kim Hanbin as the sole lyricist and main composer, along with Joe Rhee and R.Tee, who also arranged the song and are part of the independent label The Black Label, under YG Entertainment.
New information about the title track has also been released.

Today YGE finally revealed the name and credits for the surprise new track that iKON will use to extend their Return promo!
iKONICs will be happy to see that the members of the genius collaboration that gave us “Love Scenario”are also involved with the new track which is called “Rubber Band.”
According to YGE front man Yang Hyun Suk and iKON’s leader Kim Hanbin, the track is to be seen as a gift to fans and an opportunity to spend more time with our boys!
Are you looking forward to the surprise track?
iKON is still topping all major Korean charts 37 days after dropping Love Scenario and just recorded their 160th hourly Perfect All Kill! AND their 6th Music Show Win on KBS Music Bank (LoveScenario6thWin) (Its getting difficult to keep up with the achievements they come in literally as we type) Incredible!
UPDATE: 165th Perfect All Kill (we are gonna take a break from counting for now! Phew!)
We got hints, even promises, but iKONICs are used to empty words. Today we got proven wrong in the best of ways.
At 10.30AM KST, Yang Hyun Suk posted on his personal Instagram a teaser picture of iKON’s upcoming release.
The song is a hidden title track and will be an extension of the current promotions of iKON’s second full album, ‘Return’- whose title track, ‘Love Scenario’, has topped charts, broken records and charmed the general public for over a month.
The iKON members have teased new content numerous times.
Even Yang Hyun Suk himself had promised iKONICs a special surprise on his Instagram.
However, iKONICs are used to waiting -without mentioning being busy keeping up with iKON’s current success and still playing their part as fans in the latest comeback for over a month now.
This announcement came as a shock and was completely unexpected, but iKONICS also have experience with seizing opportunities when they appear and this time won’t be any different.
As always, check out this Naver article and do the usual- react, upvote comments, recommend and comment something yourself, you can use this document to find common korean phrases to use.
As iKONICs, we’ll need to get our full gear ready again for the upcoming release: you can check our tutorials here to find out how you can help.
Let’s do our best for iKON and enjoy the music and more of our best boys above anything else!
The results are coming in for just how much iKONICs miss iKON and the answer is apparently A LOT!
iKON’s 2nd Full Album, “Return” which will be released on January 25th at 6:00pm KST has managed to rise to the top of pre-order charts both in Korea and Internationally.
The album has a Black version and a Red version and in some cases would enter the charts top 2 or top 3.
