Earlier on today, YG Entertainment released the long-awaited tracklist for iKON’s upcoming second album, ‘Return’. The tracklist contains eight songs and four ‘SPECIAL BONUS TRACKS’, which equals a total of twelve tracks.
Some of the songs featured are the title track, which we already know as ‘사랑을 했다 (Love Scenario)’, as well as B.I’s second official solo, ‘돗대 (One and Only)’.
Songs that are already highly appreciated and loved are included in the album, such as ‘Just Go’ and ‘Love Me’ (Now ‘나를 사랑하지 않아요? (Love Me)’). These tracks have already been performed throughout iKON’s tours in Japan. Fans will also be able to hear new versions of their pre-adored songs ‘시노시작’ and ‘Long Time No See’ from Mix and Match.
All tracks involve lyrics, production or arrangement from members Bobby and B.I, with some familiar names arising in the credits. Fellow YG member PSY joins the boys to write lyrics, compose and arrange ‘Everything’. Tablo of Epik High joins iKON to compose and arrange ‘안아보자 (Hug Me)’.
Also seen on the tracklist are members of Future Bounce, who have been credited for their work in iKON’s previous tracks ‘Airplane’ and ‘Dumb & Dumber’, returning to produce ‘Best Friend’. As well as producer Choice37, who has worked closely with iKON in the past for ‘My Type (취향저격)’ and making a remix version of ‘Anthem‘.
Also appearing is YG’s own Teddy, who we have seen involved in the production of songs for 2NE1 and BlackPink.
The album will be released on the 25th of January at 6PM KST.
On the 5th of January, iKON released a one-minute teaser film for their second album, titled ‘RETURN’.
The short film, which was released on Instagram, YouTube and VLIVE, contains the seven members with a suburban retro feel and an R&B track playing in the background. Also heard is a voiceover by member Bobby, who says:
“Is there any point in clinging to the things that pass on by and change without any warning. Those things that will disappear anyways — and I’ll end up even losing myself while chasing those things. When I close my eyes and draw out my dreams, When I dance and sing, I feel alive. If I were to live this life all over again, I’d live out this same day. If I could feel the excitement of that very first time once again. Nothing’s changed. We’ve just gotten swept up in the passing of time. You, me, and us. We still exist in the same place. Now, I send this airplane off into the sky. The new kids return.”

At this stage, it is unclear what the annotation means, but it is certain that there is a story to be told. During Jinhwan and June’s ‘KJH 섹시한 한 해 보내세요’ VLIVE, June stated that their recently filmed music video has an overall “musical” feel.
“The overall concept of the music video seemed very much like a musical to me,” June said.
“Like a fairytale, a drama.”
“The feeling of California and LA,” Jinhwan said. “[The music video] feels like a Santa Monica beach.”
Nevertheless, iKONICS were given plenty to theorise over, including black and white and inverted colour scenes, cracked mirrors, flocks of flying birds, paper airplanes, fleeting shots of their concert and the seven members standing in the middle of a field. With this being their second album since Welcome Back in 2015, fans can see a new side of iKON through a full tracklist and Korean promotions.
The comeback date is set to be released next week.
iKON’s Kim Bobby thrilled fans with the first live performances of tracks from his hotly anticipated debut album, Love and Fall as part of promotions for the album’s Japan release.
Though the album was originally released in South Korea on September 14th 2017 it took till November 29th for fans to be able to see more than a single promotional stage for the album’s title tracks due to YGE choosing to skip a promotional cycle for the album which was released while iKON was still actually on an extended Dome Tour in Japan.
Bobby’s live performance of tracks from Love and Fall were broadcasted on the popular Japanese video site/web channel Nico Nico.
The live included interactions with an MC during which Bobby answered questions about the album, played games, thanked fans for coming and mysteriously asked them to anticipate iKON’s next activity.

Bobby’s stage itself was very simple featuring just the artist and a mic yet the atmosphere was full of Bobby’s excitement for a live performance and the intensity of his passion for music.

I love you,
Love and Fall was a surprising album for even the oldest and staunchest Bobby fans/iKONICs not just because after 3 years of waiting people had given up hope it would ever be released – but because the idol who was most famous as the young power rapper who won SMTM3 took a risk and did what no one expected by releasing a personal and heartfelt and mostly vocalist album!
Bobby sang his heart out and touched fans with the beauty and sincerity of his lyrics and the heart they revealed.
This made getting to see him perform tracks from this album even more special for fans and Bobby did not disappoint with his electric performance.
It’s D1 to LOVE AND FALL Album debut and YG has dropped the final MV Teaser in which Bobby tells us “I Love You” while annihilating us with premium Boyfriend visuals!
You would think we would be tired by now of speaking on how adorable, fluffy, cute and gorgeous Kim Bobby has been in these teasers leading up to his album release or how ear-wormy the track excerpts are – but NOPE!
If you ever wanted to imagine what a date with iKON’s Bobby as a boyfriend would be like, this would probably be the MV for you!
It’s such a refreshing switch to see a side of Bobby we’ve only ever caught behind the scenes suddenly taking the spot light that we cannot quite get over it.
Soft Bobby the fluffy bunny with deep and earnest lyrics but still riding that beat masterfully – it’s a Kim Jiwon fans never knew if they would be lucky enough to see.
AND WE LOVE THAT HE’S SINGING! We’ve always loved his husky tones that complimented tracks like “Airplane” and “Just Go” and to have an album from champion rapper Bobby where he’s mostly singing is a GIFT!
So back to the Teaser: for the title track “I Love You” we see Bobby playing alone under the deep blue sky of a California beach, bouncing on beds, diving in a backyard pool and laying back on the hood of a pretty, blue Mustang all to a trendy tropical house beat.
The sound is light and even playful. His smile and glances are warm and intimate and the vibe is very chill.
It’s surprising when you find out that the song is really a sad one about the end of a long term romance.
iKONICs are familiar with this kind of twist that iKON members seem fond of from songs like “Love Me” and “Welcome Back” and are strongly anticipating the full song and lyrics that will finally reveal the story of “I Love You”
Meanwhile the live countdown to Bobby’s album drop begins tomorrow at 4pm KST on VApp!
Thank you to all the many fan sites and platforms who were able on such short notice to pull together various promotional Projects, Guides for iKONICs and Support!

We apologise that this is late but we had a LOT of thoughts!
Earlier today the Video Teaser for “Runaway,” the second title track on Kim Bobby’s first solo album “Love and Fall” was released by YGE making an emotional mess out of all of us.
We knew this album was going to be an intimate look at not so much Bobby the stage eating monster rapper but at Kim Jiwon the artist behind him ~ knowing and seeing, however, are two different things.
From the Teaser’s opening with a Biblical verse, essentially a cry for help that is also a reflection of Bobby’s deeply spiritual side, you realize immediately that we are getting access to a Bobby we’ve only seen glimpses of from behind the scenes.
From Bobby perched high on an overpass in his adopted hometown of Fairfax, VA, a pair of sneakers dangling beside him which we later see engulfed in flames – to Bobby running in slow motion through an overlapping image of himself and cars with lighted headlights literally rain down above him – The Runaway teaser packs an emotional as well as visually stunning wallop for something that’s just 32 seconds long.
Strong images of alienation, solitude and even desperation followed by the refrain of wanting to run away in Bobby’s soulful, raspy vocal accompanied by simple guitar chords leaves you with a melancholic feeling and a desire for more that is perfect for the incoming colder seasons.
It had a big impact on our team and as can be imagined it has had a big impact on fans.
Anyone can relate to the story of Runaway. I don’t think there is anyone who has not felt at some point overwhelmed by life’s responsibilities and wanted to get away from it all even if it’s just for a little bit.
Anyone who knows Bobby’s journey from a lonely 14 yr old who came to Korea on his own to pursue his dreams and save his family from financial struggle – anyone who has watched his fights, his failures, his victories and his continuing struggle can understand why Bobby would sometimes want to run away.
It’s not even his first time writing about how hopeless the quest and heavy the burden is of the path he chose.
