Goodbye Road achieves its first Melon roofhit!

After a excruciating hour of monitoring the 5 minute chart, Goodbye Road achieved it’s first Melon and Genie roofhit! As of 8AM, Goodbye Road has a total of 362,257 unique listeners.

Goodbye Road is also climbing back up on Naver, currently sitting at #5, while dominating all other major charts and being #6 on iChart as of 8.30AM KST.

iKON releases Goodbye Road and tops Korean and international charts

iKON had a successful comeback yesterday with the release of the Goodbye Road MV and New Kids: The Final mini album at 6PM KST.

(Don’t forget to stream the MV! Our goal is 6M views in 24 hours.)

As for Korea, Goodbye Road debuted comfortably in top #21 of all major charts, raising quickly and steadily every hour until the charts froze at 1AM, achieving #4 on Naver and #1 on all other charts, getting incredibly close to scoring a Realtime All Kill.

It’s D-3 to comeback day, and iKON has released the schedule for the VLive countdown for Goodbye Road on October 1st at 5AM KST, an hour before the official release of New Kids: The Final.

iKON shocks with October comeback announcement

Official Twitter and Instagram accounts posted a comeback poster on September 11th at 10AM KST, announcing a new mini album called New Kids: The Final to be released on October 1st.

This would mark iKON’s fourth release in 2018, something unheard of, starting off in January with the full album New Kids: Return, followed by the single Rubber Band in March, and, lastly, the mini album New Kids: Continue last August.

iKON destroys all possible predictions with powerful dance teaser

iKONICs were in for a big surprise with the release of the second M/V teaser.

Yang Hyun Suk had said multiple times the teasers for this comeback were going to be powerful, but the warnings fell short of the actual impact they had upon release.

The 20 seconds long video happened to include a completely unexpected strong EDM beat in the chorus and, as promised, we got a sneak peek of the sharp and deadly choreography.
